Winter greetings from Swift & Spry! Thank you everyone who has booked appointments and sessions, mentioned me to other people, liked my posts, sponsored my challenge and supported me in other ways - I am so grateful to you all for joining my journey so far :)

Amongst all the current uncertainty, I thought it might be nice to share some of my favourite bits of 2021, and plans for 2022.

Massage

It's been nice being able to start providing regular massage treatments this year, albeit tentatively and with lots of PPE! I've found a lovely clinic to work from at the Wellness Hub - it's a calming and professional space that fits well with my ethos and way of working. I've started to offer regular appointments on Tuesday and Sunday evenings. I've also introduced gift vouchers!

Cycle training I've really enjoyed helping children gain skills and confidence on two wheels. There have been ups and downs (the reason for doing my October challenge explains more) but it's such an amazing feeling every time a child gets pedaling - especially when the odds are against them, and/or they arrive with a belief they will never manage it. I plan to continue helping children with special needs and older children on an ad hoc basis.

In my day job I've trained as a Mental Health First Aider, completed a course in Good Nutrition, and had the privilege of working with loads of inspiring people around wellbeing on a daily basis in my role as Wellbeing Coordinator at local charity Style Acre. I'm planning to approach 2022 confidently but cautiously. As well as continuing with massage and cycle training, I'm also pondering the idea of a balance bike club for little ones, offering wellbeing mornings (like a 1:1 retreat), and a library of inspiring outdoors and wellbeing books available to borrow. If you have any questions, feedback or ideas at all I would love to hear from you! Wellbeing wishes, Anita
